Why we price from the property type, not a survey
You know the number before we come
Most gutter cleaners in Nottingham quote “from” a price and confirm it on the doorstep, when it is awkward to say no. Ours is fixed from the postcode and property type, in writing, before we set off. It is the same price whether the gutter is dusty or growing a tree.
The footage shows what you paid for
A fixed price only works if you can see the job was done properly. The GoPro films every run before and after, so there is never a conversation about whether it was worth it.
We don’t sell repairs
Some firms clean cheaply and make their money on the “we found a problem” conversation afterwards. We don’t do repairs, so the price on this page is the whole of what we earn from your house. If we find a defect you get a photo and nothing to buy.
What makes a gutter clean cost more, and what doesn’t
More gutter
A detached house has gutters on four sides and usually a garage; a three-storey house has the same run but takes longer to reach. That is why the bands are what they are — it is about metres of gutter and height, not how dirty it is.
Separate roofs
A conservatory, extension, porch or garage each has its own gutter run and its own outlet. Each is a small job in its own right, so each is quoted, and the total is fixed before we start.
How blocked it is
Compost, plants, pigeon droppings, a gutter untouched for ten years — the price is the same. Our Woodchurch Road job in Arnold filled six builders’ buckets. It was a large detached house and it was the large detached price.
Where you live, or when
No travel charges anywhere in Nottingham or the surrounding towns, and the same prices seven days a week. Overflows that are doing damage go to the front of the week at the same price, with no emergency call-out fee.

What should a gutter cleaner in Nottingham charge?
For a standard semi, somewhere between £90 and £140 is normal across the city. Below that, check whether downpipes and taking the debris away are included. Above that, ask what you are getting for the difference. Our semi price is £120 fixed, including VAT, with downpipes flushed and GoPro footage sent the same day.
Is the price really fixed, or is it “from”?
Fixed. It is set from your property type and postcode before we come, in writing, and it does not change on the day because the gutter is worse than expected. The only extras are the ones you know about in advance — a conservatory, extension or garage with its own gutter — and those are quoted with the job so the total is fixed too.
Does the price include VAT?
Yes. Every price on this page and every quote we send includes VAT. There is nothing added at the end.
Is there a call-out fee or minimum charge?
No call-out fee. The smallest job is a terrace or bungalow at £95, and that is the full clean with downpipes and footage, not a call-out plus extras.
How much does it cost to clean a conservatory gutter?
It is quoted with the house clean because size, roof type and access vary. Most people add it to the house price and get one fixed figure for the visit. On its own it is a fixed price from the postcode and a photo. See conservatory gutter cleaning.
How much is a three-storey house?

How much does the Gutter Health Plan cost?

Do you charge more for a gutter that has not been cleaned in years?
No. The price is set by the size and height of the house, not how full the gutter is. A gutter full of compost takes longer, and that is our problem, not yours.
Do landlords or businesses pay different prices?
A rented house is priced as a house — the same four bands — and invoiced if you prefer. Blocks of flats, shop parades and business premises are quoted per building after a free survey, with RAMS and insurance documents supplied. See landlord and commercial.
How do I pay?
By card on the day, once the job is done — tap and go on our SumUp machine, receipt straight away. Nothing is paid in advance. Landlords and businesses can be invoiced and pay by bank transfer.
