Where we clean gutters
Gutter Cleaned is run by Stephen Fudge, a former Local Authority Cleaning Inspector, from Chelsea House in New Basford. From there we cover the whole of Greater Nottingham — the city suburbs, Rushcliffe, Gedling, Broxtowe and the villages on the edge — at the same fixed prices, with no travel charge anywhere on this page. Every job is cleared from the ground with a SkyVac gutter vacuum and filmed on GoPro before and after.
The areas we work most have their own page, with the housing, the streets we've cleaned and real jobs with the customer's review. The rest are below, each with a note on what we tend to find there. If your street isn't named anywhere on this page, we almost certainly still cover it — send the postcode and we'll confirm.
Areas with their own gutter cleaning page
Each of these has a page written around that area's housing, streets and jobs. The names in bold are live pages; the rest are being written and will link as they go live.

Based in New Basford, working across Nottingham
Most of the areas on this page are 10–25 minutes from us, which is why an overflow can usually be dealt with the same week. One gutter cleaner, one van, the whole of Nottingham: no franchise territories, no subcontractors in the outer villages.

Gutter cleaning in Annesley and Newstead
The two former pit villages north of Hucknall towards Mansfield — Coal Board terraces and semis in Annesley Woodhouse and Newstead, newer closes between them and farmhouses on the lanes towards Newstead Abbey. Concrete tiles shedding moss, long shared runs on the terraces and plenty of tree cover from the abbey grounds. Covered on the Hucknall round at the same fixed prices, no travel charge.

Gutter cleaning in Bakersfield
Bakersfield is the 1930s estate between Carlton Hill and Sneinton Dale — mostly semis and short terraces with hipped roofs and the original concrete tiles. Gutters here fill with moss washed off north-facing slopes and with leaf fall from the mature street trees along the avenues. Long runs on the semis with a single downpipe at the rear are the usual blockage point. We clean Bakersfield from the ground with the SkyVac, GoPro before and after, fixed price before we start, no call-out fee.

Gutter cleaning in Beechdale
Beechdale sits between Aspley and Bilborough on the west side of the city — inter-war and post-war council-built semis, many now owner-occupied, with the long half-round gutter runs typical of the estate layouts. Plastic guttering fitted decades ago has usually lost a bracket or two, so the run sags and holds water at the low point. We clear it, flush the downpipes and tell you if a bracket needs replacing rather than just cleaning round it.

Gutter cleaning in Bestwood Village
Bestwood Village is the former pit village on the northern edge of Nottingham, backing onto Bestwood Country Park. The Coal Board terraces and semis have a mix of original and replaced guttering, and the park's tree cover means a heavy leaf load every autumn on the houses nearest the woodland edge. Bungalows on the newer closes tend to be overlooked because they look reachable. Same fixed prices as Arnold and Hucknall, no travel charge.

Gutter cleaning in Brinsley and Newthorpe
The villages north and east of Eastwood on the Nottinghamshire side of the Erewash — terraces and semis from the colliery days, bungalows on the newer closes and older cottages around the Brinsley Headstocks. The same moss-and-plastic-gutter story as Eastwood, cleaned on the same round at the same fixed prices.

Gutter cleaning in Bulcote, Gonalston and Lowdham
The villages along the Trent beyond Burton Joyce — Bulcote on the A612, Gonalston in the lanes behind it and Lowdham at the junction — are cottages, farmhouses, barn and stables conversions and larger houses, nearly all of them under big trees. Clay pantiles shed moss, the trees shed leaves, and the gutters are often down a passage no ladder will fit. We cover them on the Burton Joyce round at the same fixed prices, no travel charge; the Gonalston job is on the Burton Joyce page.

Gutter cleaning in Canning Circus
Canning Circus is the Victorian quarter at the top of Derby Road — tall terraces, converted villas and a lot of flats and HMOs. Three- and four-storey frontages, cast-iron gutters with hopper heads, and parapet or valley gutters behind the roofline that nobody can see from the street. We reach them from the ground with the SkyVac poles and send the GoPro footage, which is what landlords and letting agents here usually need for their records.

Gutter cleaning in Carrington
Carrington is the old village between Sherwood and our office in New Basford — Victorian terraces with shared runs, the villas on the Mansfield Road side and the closes off Hucknall Road. It is one of the closest places we work, and it is covered in full on our Sherwood page, including the Wesley Grove, Alexandra Street and Ebury Road jobs. Terraces from £95, cleaned from the ground with GoPro before and after.

Gutter cleaning in Castle Quarter
Castle Quarter is the streets below Nottingham Castle — Georgian and Victorian townhouses, mews and converted offices. Parapet gutters and lead-lined valleys are common, and blockages often only show as damp inside rather than as an overflow. We camera-check the outlets from the ground and clear what we can reach with the SkyVac; where a parapet gutter needs closer attention we tell you honestly rather than guess.

Gutter cleaning in Cropwell Bishop and Cropwell Butler
The two villages in the Vale of Belvoir between Cotgrave and Bingham — a brick-and-pantile core around each church, 1960s–80s estates and bungalows around it, and open farmland that blows leaf and debris onto the roofs. Older houses on cast-iron and deep half-round gutters. Covered on the Bingham and Cotgrave round at the same fixed prices, no travel charge.

Gutter cleaning in Daybrook
Daybrook is the southern end of Arnold along Mansfield Road, below St Paul's spire and the old Home Brewery building — Victorian terraces near the main road, 1930s semis behind. It's covered in full on our Arnold page, including the Church Drive and Browning Close jobs. Cast-iron on the older streets, half-round plastic on the semis, and the tree cover from Woodthorpe Grange Park is the main reason gutters here fill by November.

Gutter cleaning in Dunkirk
Dunkirk is the terraced grid between the QMC and the river — Victorian and Edwardian terraces, most of them student lets and HMOs. Shared rear gutters between neighbours, tight access down the side passages, and a landlord who usually isn't on site. We clear from the ground, flush the shared downpipe, and send the GoPro footage the same day so it can go straight into the compliance file.

Gutter cleaning in Gamston
Gamston is the 1980s–90s estate east of West Bridgford along the A52 — detached and semi-detached houses on cul-de-sacs with plastic guttering that's now thirty-odd years old, and a lot of conservatories. The valley gutter where the conservatory meets the house is the common blockage. Priced with West Bridgford, cleaned the same way: SkyVac from the ground, no one on the conservatory roof.

Gutter cleaning in Giltbrook, Watnall and Awsworth
The villages between Kimberley and Eastwood — Victorian terraces along the main roads, post-war semis, newer closes around the retail park and the older cottages and farms of Watnall and Awsworth. Concrete tiles, ageing plastic guttering and mature trees on the village edges. Cleaned with Kimberley and Eastwood at the same fixed prices.

Gutter cleaning in Gotham
Gotham is the village south of Clifton under the Wolds — a stone-and-brick core along Leake Road with 1960s–80s houses around it and farms on the edge. Rural leaf and moss load, older properties with cast-iron or deep half-round gutters, and bungalows. We cover it on the same round as Ruddington and East Leake at the same fixed prices.

Gutter cleaning in Highbury Vale and Bulwell Forest
The south side of Bulwell either side of Highbury Road and the golf course — Victorian terraces near the tram stop, 1930s semis and the estates around Bulwell Forest. Shared runs on the terraces, moss off the concrete tiles on the semis, and the trees along the forest edge. It is covered in full on our Bulwell page at the same fixed prices.

Gutter cleaning in Hockley
Hockley is the independent quarter east of the city centre — Victorian warehouses and shops converted to flats and offices, three and four storeys, with box and parapet gutters that block out of sight. Most work here is for landlords, agents and small commercial owners who need footage and a written report. We clear what's reachable from the ground and tell you plainly where a gutter needs more than a clean.

Gutter cleaning in Lace Market
The Lace Market is Nottingham's Victorian warehouse district — tall brick buildings with hidden parapet gutters, internal downpipes and outlets that block with pigeon debris rather than leaves. Access is the challenge, and much of the stock is flats or commercial. We assess from the ground with the camera pole, clear what the SkyVac can reach, and give an honest report on anything that needs a roofer or a cherry picker.

Gutter cleaning in Lambley
Lambley is the village north-east of Gedling in the Dumbles — a conservation-area core of cottages and farmhouses, larger detached houses on the lanes, mature trees everywhere. Gutter cleaning in Lenton Abbey
Lenton Abbey is the 1930s estate between Wollaton and the university — semis with hipped roofs and the original half-round gutters, now largely owner-occupied with some student lets on the university side. Mature front-garden trees and the wooded edge of Wollaton Park are the leaf source. We clean it with Wollaton and Beeston, same prices, SkyVac from the ground.

Gutter cleaning in Linby and Papplewick
The two stone villages north of Hucknall on the edge of Newstead — conservation-area cottages, converted farm buildings and larger houses along Main Street and Papplewick Lane, with mature trees and the old mill race. Stone slates and clay pantiles shed moss, and the older houses have cast-iron or deep half-round gutters. Covered on the Hucknall round at the same fixed prices, no travel charge.

Gutter cleaning in The Meadows
The Meadows is the 1970s redevelopment south of the station plus the older terraces near Wilford Road — low-rise housing-association stock with flat and mono-pitch roofs and internal or box gutters, and Victorian terraces with shared rear runs. A lot of the work is for landlords and associations. We clear from the ground, flush the outlets, and send footage for the file.

Gutter cleaning in Nottingham city centre
The city centre is flats above shops, converted warehouses and commercial roofs — parapet gutters, internal outlets, pigeon debris rather than leaves, and access that has to be planned. We do this work for landlords, managing agents and businesses, with a written report and GoPro footage every time. Fixed price agreed up front once we've seen the roofline.

Gutter cleaning in Porchester
Porchester is the 1930s suburb between Mapperley and Carlton — bay-fronted semis on the avenues off Porchester Road, hipped roofs, deep gutters, and the mature trees around Carlton Hill and the recreation ground. Half-round gutters on a 1930s semi hold a lot of water once the corner outlet blocks; overflow at the corners is the usual call. Cleaned with Mapperley and Carlton at the same fixed prices.

Concrete tiles shed moss into plastic half-round gutters that bow between brackets. It is covered in full on our Arnold page, including jobs on Enderby Gardens and Woodchurch Road.

Gutter cleaning in Rise Park
Rise Park is the 1970s estate north of Bestwood — link-detached and semi-detached houses with concrete tile roofs and plastic guttering now past its best. Same round and prices as Bulwell and Arnold.

Where we work, answered
Do you charge extra for travel to the villages?
No. Every area on this page is priced the same — terraces and bungalows from £95, semis from £120, detached from £145 — whether you're in Sneinton or East Leake. We plan the rounds by area so the villages aren't a special trip.
My area isn't listed. Do you still cover it?
Almost certainly. This page names the suburbs and villages we work most, not the limit of where we go. Send the postcode through the form and we'll confirm the same day with a fixed price.
Is there a gutter cleaner near me in Nottingham?
If your postcode starts NG1 to NG17, or you're in Long Eaton, Beeston, Stapleford or the villages south of the Trent, yes. We're based in New Basford and most of the city is under half an hour away, so “near me” usually means the same week. Check your suburb above for its own page, or send the postcode and we'll confirm.
Do you work for landlords and letting agents across these areas?
Yes — a lot of our inner-city work in Radford, Lenton, the Arboretum and the city centre is for landlords and agents who need the GoPro footage and a written note for the file. Multi-property rounds can be booked together.
Which areas have their own page?
The ones listed under “Areas with their own gutter cleaning page” above. Each is written around that area's housing and streets, with real jobs and the customer's own Google review. More are added every week.
